I am going to post my son's major achievements in honor of this month and how he has progressed in dealing with his 'challenge' of autism. #1.  Gavin has begun to advocate for himself and tell others he has autism when they do not understand his needs or mannerisms.  #2.  Gavin has recently been able to start communicating that he is angry and has a right to feel angry (rather than just immediately melting down every single time.).
